We're moving!
Last night Kyle and I found out that he will be flying the C-17 Globemaster III at Charleston AFB in South Carolina. We are both really excited about this assignment and believe it is truly an answer to prayer! We don't have orders yet, so we have no idea when we will actually be moving, but the guess is we will be in SC by late summer. Thank you all for your prayers!

Have you two checked out these websites? One is the Convention and Visitors Bureau site for Charleston and the second is the city of Charleston site. Both are full of good info about the city and surrounding area. Might help you get acquainted with your new home before you actually get there.

Charleston!! Oh that's so great! We lived there for 3 years and loved it. AND it is only 5-6 hours away from us here in Williamsburg. Hooray! We have lots of great friends there we can hook you up with. Several Aggies! Congratulations!

1) We have always wanted to visit Charleston and decided that we'd take a little weekend getaway sometime... so now we can come visit you!!!
2) My friend's husband, James Bucks, flew these planes and he said that he flew with Kyle when he was down in Del Rio a few weeks ago doing Reserve stuff! (He got out of the Air Force this past summer, but is doing the reserves for a while. He was a FAIP and did the T-1s, but flew the C-17s originally. He now flies for SWA.)
